Neil Ardley was an English composer and author. At Bristol University he studied chemistry, piano, and saxophone in equal measure, and after graduating he wrote more than 100 books on music, technology, and science, including 101 Great Science Experiments, Eyewitness: Music, and How Things Work. I bought this book as a gift for my son who loves to do science experiments. The last 2 school years (5th&6th grade) the have to do a science experiment in front of an audience at school and my son was easily able to find experiments that he loved. This was a great product with lots of fun ideas for science experiments for kids. I would absolutely recommend this book for anyone with kids that love to do experiments.
Got this as a gift for the grand daughter. She has done so many of the experiments in the book and says she loves it. She is 8
I was hoping this would have more activities in it my daughter could do on her own (10 years old) but most require adult help. some items are not items you have laying around the house so i don't like that you have to purchase something for a 5 minute experiment. My daughter wants to do the activities so it gets her excited about science and learning so that's a win.
This book is full of color pages with many many many different experiments witb iyems ariund the house. I got this gor my son who is 11 and he loved it. Its not a cheap o book. Pages are durable and we just love it.

Simple experiments. Most are actually common sense and you can find easily with a quick google search. Really, this book can be built on your own. However, there are a few random experiments that catch you off guard and may surprise you a little. Great for most teens interested in science
