This is a fantastic and comprehensive overview of the systematic minerology of uranium and thorium minerals, including an overview of all the major ore deposits around the world. It is splendidly illustrated with pictures of almost every described species, and crystal structures where available.Certainly a welcome addition to the limited library of books on radioactive minerals, admittedly a bit of an esoteric interest.

Just finished reading it cover-to-cover. Outstanding descriptions of each species with photos of what you might expect to see and not necessarily the "world's best". Easy to read text in spite of the somewhat esoteric subject matter. Mineral structure images are easy to understand and the creation software is made available free to book purchasers. Chemical makeup is well presented. An absolute must for radioactive mineral collectors.
